I'm not real sure... I do know that in Germany, that it's now a law to say that the Holocaust DID happen. So I'm sure they do teach it.

I've never lived in Germany so I really have no idea, but I hear that they do teach it, and do so very factually. It's probably similar to American schools teaching about slavery.

I have escorted numerous Japanese exchange students through the Admiral Nimitz Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas and the response is usually, "I had no idea!" More than one student has commented that, "Every one in Japan should visit here." Which is to say, they didn't get much about WWII in their history classes.
